Chaumont- “1465 on the remains of a 10th century fortress only to be destroyed soon after when King Louis XI discovered that its owner, Pierre d’Amboise, had involved himself in a revolt against the king. After being rebuilt a few decades later, the notorious wife of King Henry II, Catherine de Medici, purchased Chaumont and often entertained famous people here such as the astrologer, Nostradamus.”

"C'est la vie" French Final Presentation    


Un Project finale:
Part of your French presentation/written exam will incorporate all your French vocabulary thus far with a particular focus on your daily routine and maladies.
Refer to Ch5 Exprimons-Nous sections, p.189, p. 160, 171, & previous chapters for review.


Présentation: PPT, Slideshow, Comic book Creator, StoryBird, Poster board

Objectifs:
  • Use French reflexive verbs to tell a story.
  • 8 à10 carres/ 8-10 story squares or slides
  • 15 à 20 phrases/ 15-20 sentences
  • French transitions/time expressions
Important:
There should be sufficient depth yet creativity added to the story.
Must review and edit writing in advance with teacher to see writing process.

England and the world mourned with and supported their French football competitors at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday.
Prince William and English Prime Minister Cameron shared sympathy with those who died in last Friday's terrorist attacks. The entire stadium including the players joined together in unison to sing "La Marseillaise"
(the French national anthem).
